A. Feeder Description
Staple Fiber Feeders are used at the feed end of Stage A (Wet Feeder) and feed end Stage B (Intermediate Feeder) or more stage, to receive and evenly distribute stable fiber across the dryer’s conveyor. These feeders include Plain belt, Incline belt (spiked conveyor), Comb, Doffer & Exhaust system.
B. Main Components and Functions
A rotary comb, with stainless steel pins is furnished at the top of the inclined spiked conveyor to prevent over-feeding.
A multi-bladed rotating doffer will remove the staple from the spiked lattice. The staple then is transferred by an inclined chute to the product apron conveyor of the dryer. All rollers can be removed from side or top of the Feeder. The distance between Spiked Belt, the Comb and the Doffer are adjustable according to customer’s product.
On top of the feeders, there is an exhaust hoodto exhausthumid air.
These feeders are designed to allow maximum access for cleaning, inspection and maintenance. Hinged doors, with mesh-screen panels are located on both side of Feeder.
Back support system are provided to reinforce the structure and allow minimum sag across the width of the Inclined Spiked Belt.
Soft and hard material seal along the whole plain belt and incline belt bring good function of seal.
